Do you think it's weird for a guy you haven't talked to in a while to wait in your dm?

I think it's really weird a guy in my class I didn't talk to much until summer he got my number and we started chatting and we were vibing so like everything was normal till I asked him if he liked any girl from s hool he told me yes then I asked who.. he replied that it was me and has been for 3 years I didn't reply him to like a week I just said wow really then he was like yeah and I replied aww cute and he replied yh I didn't chat him for 2 more weeks O just sent yo and it delivered and was read immediately and he replied in under 2 minutes I brushed it off but today when I opened TikTok I saw he was following me and he liked all my videos.. so I blocked him everywhere since I was getting some weird stalker vibe.

I told my friends and they said I was too harsh on him.

Maybe a little? You know the vibes you get from someone else better than a third party advising on it from the outside, but here's my thoughts on the story as presented:

Noting your age and saying that he was a guy in your class... He could just be very socially awkward and hasn't yet figured out how to talk to you. I know I was an awkward mess at that age and could barely string two sentences together to people I was attracted to 😅

That sort of thing changed with time and experience. My thought is just that maybe he isn't stalking... Maybe he is just more shy towards you because he likes you and doesn't know how to progress the conversation now that his secret is out?

How old is the boy? If you are the same age, then most likely he is just very shy. There are no 15-year-old stalkers. But if it's older, it may be that you did everything right.

If he’s in your class and has taken this long go even mention likening you, that will have been a big step for him. I would say it’s possibly a bit harsh, however it is also worth telling him about boundaries, as in you understand he likes you but doing what he did came over a bit too much. If you don’t it’s going to be a tad awkward in class.

No, I think it’s really normal for a guy or girl to like someone for a long time and then finally got the courage to make a move. I think you probably overthink it and scared yourself lol. It was abit mean on your part. He probably just got excited to finally get your attention and take his chance with you due to the fast replies. Take your time to get to know someone and not judge it.

It’s always best to not be too eager or give the impression that you are eager. Make them wait. Use your desirability to you advantage. It’s not mean but it lets them know you are in charge and that you have boundaries. Remember patience is a virtue.
