Mixed signals from guy friend?

Recently, i noticed my guy friend would stare at me with a blank space after talking and i would see his eyes looked down then back up. I see his eyes looking at my lips then staring back into my eyes. We also started to playfully hit each other. I recently met his friends and he was very eager to introduce me to his closest friends which one of them told me some funny secrets/stories and he got super embarassed afterwards asking what i heard and whatever it is not true. Another time he said the sky color reminded him of me and at night he posted that picture to his instagram story. He would make random comments like “i dressed up in neutrals because i know you like it.” Last week he had a event party at his company which he can invite his closest friends like me but a bunch of his guy friends showed up. We talked about grabbing drinks after his event but while at the event, he was having a great time with his friends that i thought he would forget and flake on me. He ended up telling his friends he already had plans and remembered we talked about grabbing drinks somewhere. This event ended around 10pm and he told me “even though i am super tired right now and drained, i still wanted to grab drinks with you because you are really special.”

Even though my guy friends shows possible signs of interest, he never asked me out or pursued me so i am confused. He evens asks about my dating life and how i should date someone soon. He also calls me bro or sir sometimes which is definitely not a sign a guy would call a girl if he liked her

Firstly. I call everyone bro the girls I liked called them bro so that's not a sign of him not being interested

Secondly, I'm sure you know this already, but he definitely likes your ass. Not your ass ass but your ass

As for why he hasn't tried to ask you out. Two possible reasons,

One he's not even sure if YOU like him back. I mean have you ever flirted with him back? Have you even tried to make him a priority as much as he's seemingly making you? I'm saying he's showing signs but have you back🤔

And then Second, he may be afraid of messing up what you guys have. I mean thinj about it, assuming he doesn't know he may have a chance, what you guys have right now he's happy with. Only thing that'll make him happier is him actually dating you. So if he asked you, and found out you weren't interested. Not only would it hurt his feelings and out a cap on everything he's wanted. Relationship wise. It may also make that friendship awkward.

So they're not mixed signals. Only thing more he can do is paint a sign and put it in your face

But I will say as a disclaimer, in the event I'm wrong and he doesn't have feelings all you gotta do. If you want to be with him too. Is just match his energy, if he likes you and you started treating him like he does you and make him feel special. It'll make his world🤔

If you want him to make the first move do as I said. You don't have to flat out tell him you like him, if you don't want to risk anything. Show more signs. More obvious signs

Then naturally it should steer towards the end goal
