1 yMaybe they had a cheater in the past and are putting their past encounter on your relationship, perhaps she cares about you & clings to you wanting to make sure you got where you needed to be safely since without you she would be sad, just curious, and or some other reason though I’ve seen men do the same thing, often pondering to myself why do this at all? These are the answers to that very question, hope you enjoyed reading lol.

are you her boyfriend? if yes then when in a relationship couples are expected to share their whereabouts, what they re doing, who they are with with each other. to relief the from any worries and because they want to share these info anws.
If you are in a relationship and dont want to share details about you it shows that you might think that you re losing your freedom, and your being controlled but thats not it.
you ll know if he she is going overboard and is controlling

@Vegasrunner well it sounds to me you would cheat on her if you don’t tell her whereabouts

@ZS007 Now I see your confusion. at your inexperienced age, that's something you need to believe however successful relationships definitely aren't 50/50. Young guys in their 20's don't have much value yet so they have to settle a lot of times and make you think 50/50 is optimal. However someone like myself and other successful men don't spend out time building ourselves up, creating value in the world, to go 50/50 w/ women. Any women lucky enough to be w/ me is going to follow my lead, provide, sex, sandwiches and silence, in return she'll get safety and provisions and protection. The difference between successful men and a regular guy is we can easily replace the girl that doesn't fall in line. A regular guy can't so he had to tolerate more things he doesn't like from women.

I don't share my whereabouts with anyone, what am I, friggin' OnStar? If you have to know where I am every moment of the day you're too insecure for me to be around, much less in a relationship.

1 yIt's nice to know what someone you care about is doing with their day. I keep track of my friends as well. Plus avoiding saying where you're going and what you're doing is just weird behaviour and screams "I'm doing something I shouldn't be".

@Smashingdoozy It would be very odd to be an adult man going around giving your whearabouts to a female.
- 1 y
I disagree
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy My apologies it would odd to be a successful man providing your whereabouts to a woman
- 1 y
I still disagree. I'm not sure what being successful has to do with a loved one wanting to know you're safe.
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy Great question, now I understand your confusion. It's the man's job to keep the woman safe which is why I agree that she should be updating him on her whereabouts however, a type A successful man has had to battle the world on his own, a woman can't do much to ensure safety for him, therefore it's a waste of his time to update her. That time is better spent building his empire, and if she's lucky enough maybe she gets included in that.
- 1 y
Lol okay. I'll continue doing what I do and you do you 😊
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy Who asked you to change?
- 1 y
Nobody. I'm just letting you know my position still stands despite your own personal reasoning against it.
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy Cool? Hold what ever position you like. Not sure what it has to do w/ the question or my response for that matter. In fact your position isn't as relevant as the status of the man that would tolerate that behavior.
- 1 y
If you don't want to hear other peoples opinions then don't ask the question 😊
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy That's only reason I ask questions is to hear opinions, to show the young men I mentor that I know what I'm talking about.
- 1 y
Yet when someone has a different opinion to you, you act like they shouldn't have bothered sharing it. Make up your mind.
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy That's something completely made up by you. Ironically I teach young men that what a women says is simply what they're feeling at this time. TY for validating that statement
- 1 y
I validated nothing for you. You're contradicting yourself constantly it's quite funny.
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy I understand that's something you need to believe however you were never privy to the original hypothesis so the fact that you still pretend to know what is going on only validates my point. TY for sharing.
m 1 yI do the same with a girl, like before she goes out, where you off to, who you with, time you back etc, it’s not being nosey or controlling, it’s a mix of just wanting to know, if I need to pick her up or say a train is cancelled I know I need to get her. I do the same with friends when out with them and then we head some place else separately. A lot of people I know do the same things.

@rebelinsteel Completelty different for men
- 1 y
No it is not, it’s what normal people do.
- 1 y
@rebelinsteel Normal is subjective. If you're one of my women, then it comes w/ protection but to protect you I need to know where you are or are going to be. Most successful men subscribe to this theory.
- 1 y
@Vegasrunner having read through this entire question and various responses, the common theme is everyone disagrees with you. When you ask a question it’s because you want to see people’s opinions, all you are doing is trolling those that reply. Only you know the truth of your situation, however I have a feeling that these women you allude to, only exist in your rather challenged mind and you are simply trolling.
- 1 y
@rebelinsteel Unfortunately that shows that not only do you lack critical reading skills but also respond with emotion vs logic. I never gave a position in the original question so no one can agree or disagree with me. Also if you actually read the response you would see that many people including @RingOfFire @LiamJHayden and @AviatorTom all expressed options opposite of yours. The emotional part comes w/ pretending that the question represents a scenario that I'm undergoing which tells me you're unable to think past your own personal experiences. It's also interesting to note how much importance you place on men having women which validates the belief that a byproduct of being a HV man is attracting multiple women.

1 yThis is the case for controlling women a plenty of men so it too. It’s super weird when they can go anywhere they want and you can’t say anything but the minute you even go to the store it’s a interrogation.
Some people aren’t bad they're more needy and need someone compatible

1 yI'm shocked at the number of women who think it's okay to track a man's whereabouts on their phone. It seems bizarre to me. I would never in a million years ask a woman to let me track her like that. It's just so disrespectful and invasive. If you like that much trust, you shouldn't be in the relationship.
It's not normal.

@RingOfFire Agreed, but it shows how many low value men are out there.

1 yMany times situations like this boil down to control.
Who is in control in any given situation?
Something I've noticed about a lot of women, maybe even most women, is that a whole lot of them are extremely controlling people. Especially in romantic relationships, but even if they just like a man as a friend. They like to play match maker and do what they think will make the man happiest.
It's generally done from a good place, but it's still controlling, nonetheless.

Anonymous(30-35)1 yTrust issues for some, safety reason for others. Some women like to be kept updated about whatever their man is doing because it makes them feel included, it makes them happy knowing their man is letting them into their world. On the other hand, some women just doesn’t trust their man enough and thinks that their man is out cheating or is about to cheat on them when they’re out alone. So good luck on guessing which team your girl is on lol

@Anonymous Ah so you're saying it's their insecurities?
Opinion Owner1 yMost likely yes. I love it when my man texts me out of the blue letting me know where he’s at or who he’s with, even when I didn’t ask him to. It’s a nice reassurance.

1 ySome people are control freaks. I've been with women who wanted me to put the Life360 app on my phone so they could know my location at all times. I'm not a child and my parents have passed away, so there is zero chance I will doing any such thing.
00 Reply It's all about that connection and knowing what's up, right? Women just like to feel reassured and connected, knowing where their guy is can help them feel secure in the relationship. Communication is key, don't you think?

1 yVery insecure women think he might be with another woman.
Somewhat insecure women think might be having fun (not sex) without them.
10 Reply It depends on the woman. If her partner has cheated on her in the past, then I can understand her being inquisitive about his whereabouts. I think this may get worse in the future seeing as you have parents texting their kids in class and expecting an immediate response. The cellphone has become a kind of technological umbilical cord.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yBecause she knows there's women out there that thinks the same way she does. And is not above playing the same games she plays and using the same tactics she uses. And the worst thought of all to her. She knows there's women out there like this that are hotter and run the game better
How many women reading just squeezed thier phone tighter in anger 😆

@LaurenM1997 They'll know that if I and when I return, until then they should focus on being pretty, being quiet and cleaning.
- 1 y
Ok first off nobody has to be pretty for you or clean for you second of all you sound like a douche
- 1 y
I’d always tell my partner where about I am what time I’d be back and stuff
- 1 y
@LaurenM1997 Not sure why I said cleaning meant having sex, she should focus on being pretty, being quiet and providing sex. Yes, any woman that I choose needs to provide those things.
- 1 y
@LaurenM1997 That's good, and you should a big part of hos job is to protect you so he will have to know your whereabouts.

If women don't need men, why do they worry about being in relationships and marriage so much?
