Why wouldn’t he tell me his name?

I asked this guy if “Craig” was his real name before going out… I didn’t feel like it was… on the date I asked him what’s the name his mother gave him… he’s not American… he said “we do have American names in our country “…. I asked him again and he told me…

So that wasn't his real name…. Is that worrisome? He didn’t want to tell me/ didn’t plan on telling me.

Not telling you his real name on a first date? That tells you something really weird is going on. If someone refuses to tell me even their first name. I would stay far away.

Is he a convicted sex offender? Someone on the most wanted list? Someone who wants to do you harm? Or something else? A illegal immigrant? It could be absolutely anything. Stay away.

I honestly don't understand then. I immediately thought of South Korea because there they actually have English names too that they use sometimes when they introduce themselves to a foreigner.
