Maybe he likes a formal beginning and ending to a conversation. I had this woman on here send me a DM I responded. But then she got mad at me because I signed off. The next day she admonished me for doing that. So I picked up the conversation where we left off and then she ignored me.

People are funny. There's no telling what people expect from you, or why, or how they'll react to what you do. Just do the best you can.
