What type of women do men fall in love with?

It seems there are women who may be slept with but never truly loved. I was watching Laguna, and the leading character was reminded of the woman he loved while being seduced by another. Does this have anything to do with a woman’s appearance? The love interest is often a blue-eyed blonde, while the other woman typically has dark features or is a brunette. Popular culture also portrays women from my community in similar roles. They often have deep voices and are expected to get naked. It’s never intensely romantic. You never see them as the women who are truly loved. In fact, it’s hard to find films like Titanic or The Notebook featuring a South Asian woman. Are certain women not meant for love?

Hollywood is in America, and its primary market is North American audiences, as is its primary pool of actors. You should therefore expect the actors in these movies to be mostly white, as this reflects American demographics.

Bollywood movies are overwhelmingly South Asian actors. Japanese movies are overwhelmingly Japanese actors. Russian movies have Russian actors. Chinese movies have Chinese actors. Essentially, if there is a country that can fund the making of movies, they're almost always going to employ their own people and target their own audiences - even if they try to sell the movie internationally too.

The difference is that America has the world's largest economy and not surprisingly has the world's largest movie production business, making the most movies and distributing them worldwide. That doesn't change the fact that they are likely to employ Americans or people who can pass as Americans. That has nothing to do with what YOU deserve or don't deserve. Using mass media as your measurement for almost anything is a huge mistake, even for Americans. The movies are FICTION, not real life.

The main thing men want from women is Femininity (and I'm primarily talking about attitude and behavior, not clothes and makeup) and being family-oriented rather than career-orientated. These are things most women today cannot offer because they have been taught to BECOME the man they want to marry instead of becoming the woman that man wants to marry. And, sure, many women can be successful in a career or business - but that's almost certainly going to come at the expense of a husband and children. You cannot have it all, and anyone who says you can is lying to you. You have to choose one or the other, and you have to make that choice when you are young and live with that choice for the rest of your life.

If I were you, I would stop watching movies and shows like those. They represent an unrepresentative sample (Hollywood directors) and what they consider to be normal or ideal, not the behavior of the general population.

Men are not a monolith; some prefer blondes, some are obsessed with redheads, there are white guys who prefer Asian women, black guys who prefer white women, and white blond-haired blue-eyed guys like me who prefer white women who have brown hair and brown eyes.

Some men are shallow and will jump the gun with any women he finds physically attractive enough, particularly if said women dress in a way that we consider to be sexually provocative or if their behavior matches. I personally wouldn't give a woman a chance unless I trusted her enough, but of course looks do matter. Practically nobody is going to be interested in being in a relationship with someone for reasons beyond personality, pity, or some kind of financial support if they aren't attracted to them. I know that sounds blunt, but let's be real.

Why are you so obsessed with what Hollywood deems lovable? They had a white audience so they made the lead characters white. It was a business decision, nothing else and it was also just a natural thing to happen. Now they're selling ideologies but it's not making them money so they will change their course again eventually. You shouldn't base your own self worth on Hollywood movies or any kind of media. This question is so general it's impossible to answer. Men are not all the same, and certainly women are also not all the same. People are so different it's a wonder couples ever get together at all! But in general, they say opposite personalities attract. I tend to be introverted, so I was always attracted to outgoing, extroverted, friendly, bubbly girls who laugh a lot. And I married one! On the other hand, guys who are more extroverted, say the salesman type, tend to be attracted to quieter, more introverted girls. See, each type completes what is missing in the other.
