Friends with benefits stood me up?

I have known my friends with benefits for 6 years we stopped talking 2 years ago because I no longer wanted a friends with benefits. He reached out to me last month and we started seeing each other again
Everything was going fine until 3 days ago He text me and ask if he could come over I told him I was tired and asked him to just come the next day. I text him the next day to ask if he was coming over he did not respond to my message But He text me today asking how my day was going and if he could come see me he didn’t give me a reason for ignoring my message the day before. but I still told him he could come He told me he would be on his way to me after he got out the shower 2 hours passed and he still wasn’t here or responding to my messages.

I sent him a message saying I don’t like how he act like I’m on his time and if I want to reschedule with him, he won’t respond to my messages until he feels like seeing me A quick no or I’m not free right now wouldn’t have been an inconvenience to him And the fact that he text me the next day, like he didn’t ignore my messages really upset me And he could’ve told me he was busy today or wouldn’t be coming anymore instead of having me wait for him for two hours and I told him to never contact me again Was I wrong for cutting him off so quick
He has never done this in the past so I’m not sure why he’s doing it now

No , you did the right thing , he is definitely weighing his options and was just using you as a convenience. FWB’s only works if 2 people are on the same exact page as things , otherwise it will not work whatsoever. Only have FWB’s with someone with some strings attached , meaning you both only have sex together and no one else , you can both date other people if you choose to , but you both agree not to have sex with any of them , if you do? You promise to end the benefits part between you both and just remain friends. I prefer FWB’s with girls’ with some strings attached to give us both time to really get to know each other before deciding to be completely committed together , the main purpose of it , is for her and I to eventually be together 100 percent without rushing into things. Most people that rush into relationships aren’t looking at the big picture , they are just infatuated with each other but once push comes to shove , and one of you decides you no longer want to be with that person , the other person’s heart is broken because they thought you loved them the same way they loved you. So FWB’s kind of eliminates that from happening if you both are on the same page as things. Me personally doesn’t want to have sex with a girl , that is running around fucking other guys’ as well, to me that is dirty and degrading and putting you both at risk for catching STD’s , so if I found out she fucked someone else , I will kick her to the curb where she belongs and I hope she does the same thing to me if I did that to her. Find someone that is honest with you and on the same page as you , become friends first and then ask them if they would be interested in FWB’s with you with some strings attached. It’s been working for me , because most people today do not want to jump into relationships anymore because they are scared to with all the nonsense they see and hear about with relationships. So it’s better to take things slow and slowly get closer to each other before giving your heart completely to someone that may possibly betray you or change their minds.
