So me and my friends with benefits have been doing this off and on for a few years now. We have a genuine friendship and can hang out and not do it as well. We fell off for about a year. Life. Recently we reconnected and started up again. He’s talking about coming up with a nickname for me (new) & he has, started kissing me during and not during sex (new). Says he wants to see me whenever he’s free and laying with me is comfortable and feels right. Said he just had to talk to me the first day that he seen me years ago (never knew that). We even cuddle now. But when I ask what is it that’s he’s tryna do he says he has to reflect on us & himself. WTF? Am I missing something? Cause it gives confused about how he feels about me.

To be clear, he initiated all this. I was and still am perfectly fine with our arrangement. I’m getting the feeling he’s not though.

Then... Isn't it VERY clear? :) I don't see any potential for confusion here because you have enough elements to tell you that he has developed sentiments towards you, romantic affection. And he has a problem with his own feelings, to sort them, clearly, so please open up, launch the talks with him as soon as possible, but examine yourself first, as to what your feelings are or could be towards him. Because, he, has some for you, it's obvious enough !

So there has to be an understanding with the both of you on how far it will go

I mean for me I wanted to take it to the highest peak without saying I love you miss you need you want you so you don't have to reach too much into it by making a deal with each other on an agreement of how far it can go
