The guy I imagined getting reacquainted with wants to set ‘boundaries’ by not talking to me but won’t tell me the reason why?

Understand that a few days ago , discussed in an original post, I had written a letter to a guy that I thought would patch up our problems and in order to get us reacquainted with each other in a plantonic way. I had heard from someone he wanted to keep boundaries with me by not speaking to me yet despite this he still acts oddly aroused and nervous around me. I am completely mute and unaware of him most days but his feelings still confuse me. Please help me sort this out.

Girl, that is such a weird mixed signal mess! On one hand he clearly still gets all flustered around you, but then wants "boundaries" of not talking? Makes zero sense.

My guess is he's tryna play it cool and act like he's over you, but deep down that old spark is still there whenever he sees you in person. Guys can be dumb like that sometimes.

Don't waste your time trying to figure out what's really up - he's sending you on an emotional rollercoaster riding for no reason! You were open and honest about wanting to reconnect, and how does he respond? By avoiding talking to you? F that noise.

If he's not man enough to communicate clearly about whatever issues are still lingering, then you don't need that mind game nonsense. Keep doing your own thing as normal, living your best life.

Maybe some space is what he needs to get over you for real. Don't sit around waiting - start putting yourself out there again to meet someone worth your time. This jit is entitled to his "boundaries", but so are you to your happiness. His loss!
