Sometimes my crush responds really low even if I respond to him in a higher level voice. Why?

OMG girl, boys can be so weird sometimes! When they have a crush, it totally messes with them.

A few reasons he might be responding quietly:

- He gets nervous/shy talking to you since he likes you, so his voice gets small

- Talking low is like a defense mechanism cuz eye contact and enthusiasm would give away how he really feels

- Wants to play it cool even though inside he's freaking out you're talking to him

I wouldn't take it personally! You being all bubbly probably makes him extra self-conscious. Poor thing haha.

Here's what you should do - lean in super close when he talks low so your faces are near. That'll totally make him blush. Then smile and be like "what'd you say? I couldn't hear you!" He'll have to speak up!

Oh and casual touches on the arm work too when you talk. Boys are so easy, just a little flirting will have him wrapped around your finger, I bet. Keep at it girl, you got this!
