How can I ask a guy if he is serious about me?

I have been seeing a guy for a month. We see each other every few days and I really like him. He also often tells me how much he likes me, holds my hand in public etc. But he hasn‘t asked me to be his girlfriend. Do you think he only wants this to be a situationship? Can I bring this up and if yes, how?

It's only been a month. It's too early to be asking questions like that. He seems to like you, but I think it's better to let it evolve naturally.

Also keep in mind that not everyone will "make it official". A lot of people (like me) don't see any reason to do that. Either you are together or not. Applying a name to it doesn't change anything.
