Why were random guys taking pics with me at a party?

i was invited to my friends Halloween party, and for the most part i knew everyone there or i had mutual friends with everyone. there were around 40 people there, nothing huge or anything.

i was sitting next to my bsf tessa and these three guys that im not close with started whispering and like pushing eachother. i figured out they were trying to make eachother sit by me. one of them eventually sat down and someone took a pic of us sitting together. through out the night i heard people saying things like "bro get with (my name)!" and they continued to try to take pictures with me.

a lot of the guys there also would stare at me and randomly say hi, or guys would come up to me and tell me i should get with x person.

i can't tell if i was getting made fun of or if the guys were actually interested, i wouldn't call myself ugly and i wasn't in too seductive of a costume, but i usually don't get that much attention. i have a decent amount of friends and i don't usually get made fun of or anything, why do you think they were doing this? was i getting made fun of?

At your age, guys are often too shy to make an approach. Often times friends of a guy that has told them he's interested in a particular girl, (in this case probably you) his friends will try to goad him into making an advance. It's sort of the male version of matchmaking.

If you’re cute most guys would like to associate with you. But it’s because you’re good company and they want to be friendly with you. It doesn’t mean they want to do anything specific you but that you’re fun. I can tell you more in dms.

I'm not here to try and rot your brain with all this stuff but I think there's a lot of occasions maybe even most where opposite friends have interests that are beyond platonic but it will be suppressed or hidden for whatever reason those may be.

for some it's easy to hide attachment than it is for others, this might be the case in some men but there's also some that can hide it well, now I'm not saying that at some point they might not slip up but just be open to the idea of the idea and possibility of interest lingering in your circles, don't overthink tho, I'm sure thats what you were about to do if you haven't already 😂

i was a prisoner so i was wearing a white tank top and low waisted orange pants and i had my thong showing cause me and my friend thought it would be funny i also had on like a bunch of fake tattoos and obv i just mad my makeup done
