Guys, Why do most tall men prefer to have a family with average and short women?

Question

Like I’ve seen people saying they love their tall husbands or boyfriends.
This one guy that I liked said I’m way too tall for him and he doesn’t want freakishly tall and giant kids. He doesn’t want to deal with it if he has a daughter. The guy is 6’11” and I’m 6’4”.

Even some guy at 7’0 like tiny 5’2, 4’9 women. Like what? I’ve only dated guys average and shorter. Not that is bad. I’ve only had one real relationship two years ago who is 5’7 but dumped me. Guys ghost or ghost me. Like another example a 6’3 man with a 4’9 woman, a 6’6 guy with a 5’6 woman, 6’9 with a 5’2 woman.

Even my brothers have tiny petite partners. My 6’7 brother’s wife is only 5’1 and my 6’8, brother’s fiancé is only 4’11”. One admitted that he prefers short women because they don’t want giant kids so they want to even out the heights if they had kids. The other one said he just loves how sexy and attractive short/petite women look and they’re better in bed and making out. Man guys are blunt.

Here I am….. single 6’4, a virgin and dates never last! I don’t mind shorter guys but I want to be the short one for once but these damn men 6’6 + like these petite, tiny women! Why?

Some girl said, “Damn your husband is TALL!” One of my coworkers brag that she loves that her husband is very tall and she can feel so small when he wraps his arms around her. She said her husband is 6’7.
She said she wish she was taller but the woman is 5’5. Why would she want to be taller if men don’t like tall women? It irritates me!

In reality being tall is seen more as masculine. A majority of men aren’t over 6 ft as you may already know. A lot of men may feel inferior to men who are taller than them, especially growing up. So there’s that inferiority complex there w some men, that’s why you get what they call small man syndrome (complex). So for a majority of men who are much shorter, they’ve had to try to do more to prove more as far as getting a shot at things such as playing some sports in high school. Even w women. Women usually don’t like men shorter than them. They want to feel small, to feel dainty, to be the girl that their man picks up in his arms and kisses her or carries her to the bedroom, or into their first home, maybe even on their wedding day. A lot of men would be ok w their sons being tall, as a matter of fact it’s probably almost preferred. Not their daughters if they’re being honest. The men would love their daughters no matter what, but they realize she could far the same potential problem you are. So the man wants to be the masculine one, which again being tall is usually associated w masculinity. So when she’s taller than him he doesn’t feel as masculine, she may not feel as feminine either. I’m 5’10”, I prefer women shorter than me, maybe 5’5” at the tallest. For me it’s cause I can look down on her, not in a misogynistic way. But to be able to look down on her and kiss her, kiss her forehead, pick her up, spin her around while holding her. I like how she can stand and put her head on my chest.

Cause tall women just don't want to breed, perhaps? Tough when you start to categorize all tall women being a certain way, or all tall men. Very myopic.

Speaking for myself, I've always been more initially attracted to short girls, but not so much that I wouldn't date a tall girl.

I have, in fact, dated girls of above average height, before, and it was never an issue. I find height to be pretty far down my list of preferences, far lower than personality, intelligence, sense of humor, or even overall attractiveness.

Beyond that initial, "Huh, that short girl is kinda cute," height is pretty much a non-issue for me. I'm relatively tall, myself, at 6'4", and I wouldn't have a problem dating a woman my height.

I think a lot of guys like short girls for the same reason a lot of girls like tall men; it's all just biological attraction. Short girls are generally seen as more feminine, and tall men are typically seen as more masculine, which are desireable traits, and people are condition to seek out those traits.

Personally I love taller women. If all comes down to individual men…. And as many men have these presences. So do women there are women who are on the taller side and refuse to date shorter men.

It’s not your problem if someone rejects you move on. It’s not meant to be. Just be glad they aren’t wasting your time.

People are attracted to who they are attracted to. It's not a conscious choice. I'm 6'3" and I've been attracted to shorter women as long as I can remember. It just is what it is.
