So those movies like ‘no strings attached’ in which they don’t want anything serious but then slowly and eventually develop feelings for one another and fall inlove with eachother, doesn’t really happen in real life?

Nope. There's no way to make him change his mind. He has to want to do that, but if he said he didn't want anything serious then that means he doesn't want anything serious. If you can't accept that then you shouldn't be having sex with him. And I'm not saying that to be harsh but it's just the reality of the situation. I'm in a similar situation but I have accepted the situation for what it is. I know he doesn't want anything serious and have accepted that.
