Random guy at work?

Hi all,

There is a guy who works at my company, but he works in a completely different department to me. I see him almost every day, and when we make eye contact, he smiles at me and holds the eye contact.

Just the other day, we were talking towards each other and he stared at me, smiled and then actually said hi to me.

Could he find me attractive?

He might. Don't take someone looking at you to mean that you are attractive. It means nothing. You look at people right? Do you have a thing for everyone you look at? All this "holds eye contact" stuff is nonsense. That is in your head and what you want to believe which is opposite of reality and that people look at other people. He smiles because if he doesn't he is going to be known as "that guy" that is always in a bad mood. Here is the biggest thing tho. Don't date coworkers. Even if he is into you it is the absolute worst idea to date someone that you work with. What happens the first time that you have a big fight and can't get along? I don't care if he is in another department. It is going to make work life miserable. So hope that he doesn't find you attractive. Do your job and go home at the end of the day.

31 and have little experience with guys.
