Men, what emotional support do you seek from other men, whre and do you have good support resources in your life?

Men are notoriously... loners... and don't like to be vulnerable to other men with their problems. As such, can end up in a pickle.

What kind of support do you seek from other men, and do you wish you had more men you could go to for support... emotion

And where do you seek it?

Family and my counselor. I have my small group of friends who I can talk to about issues I deal with pertaining to relationships with women once in a while but i tend to avoid relationships with women so that's not often.

interesting, I did the same for long time. then flipped, had many female "friends" and few male ones. females were scary at one time.

I don't have any female friends. Only female coworkers but I don't do anything with them outside of work.

The counselor helps give me advice on what I should do about major situations that I don't feel I want to tell my family about, or feel the need to bother my friends with, if I need it.

People online tell me to sell therapy and when I tell them I already do they tell me to get a new counselor 🤷🏻‍♂️ So I don't really know if my counselor actually helps or not. But I like having a professional to talk to about my life per session so that I don't fall into a downward spiral due to how life itself always kicks men like me down when we're already down and women just stand there on their pedistals and point and laugh or pretend to give a shit

That's why I ask. I never went to one until I hit troubles I couldnt' understand. Figured Christian counseling was ridiculous. I went through many counselors to find one or two that would dig to solve problems. Ultimately, I found ways out and to new places and new challenges in life. Many counselors... were not helpful and I don't care for how it works. Some, "get it"... quickly. Producing change, that's work.
You'll climb out of it, lets hope.. get to new viewpoint and energy to take on the next challenges of life. There's always another mountain to climb...
