i have had a crush on this guy for awhile and we've known each other for over 12 years. We spent time together with a group of us hanging out and at one point he was sleeping with an old friend of mine but it was nothin serious.

Fast forward to him spending the night with me and sleeping in the bed with me but we never kissed, had sex or nothing. I dont even think we snuggled much at all. He knows I have a crush on him and he's told me he's had a crush on me for awhile. Just curious why he didn't make a move. I am hoping it's bc he was just as nervous as me but I'm thinking the worst or maybe he's really not feelin me.

Why aren't you glad that he is different from all the other sex starved males that will take every single opportunity to fornicate with a girl, whether they want it, whether they like it or not.

He is a gentleman and you should be grateful that there are still people like that that do not misuse and sexualize women and that can master their testosterone. There are unfortunately not many like him and you should rather be happy than sad.

Perhaps that he did not see you as a person to copulate with, perhaps that he thought that it is better not to get into trouble in the future. If you want to know, then you should ask him directly.

I think it's between two things, he was waiting for you to initiate, mostly if this you having a crush for him is just a rumor for him or he really just isn't interested, 12 years sounds like a strong friendship, it's possible he sees you as a close friend.

Perhaps, or he's actually thinking of things, not trying to ruin anything, mostly if the news is all new, if y'all both like each other then maybe it's a good thing y'all haven't rushed into anything yet, maybe he's really seeing beyond just wanting sex and wants to take his time to make sure he makes the proper decisions with you, the beginning is usually the most fragile.
