So there's this guy I met in college; i have liked him for a very long time and I was pretty sure he liked me to. Only problem I discovered that he was going away/moving soon and go back to his hometown inln another continent. We were pretty close friends, he would always invite me to watch movies in his room but he wouldn't make any sort of move (also because sometimes one of his male friends was there with us). We were able to talk for hours and our eye contact would hardly break. 1 month before he would have gone back to his hometown, I couldn't take it anymore so after we finished watching a movie together I told him that I liked him for the past 3-4 months and he started smiling. I was very nervous but fortunately he said that he felt the same way, but he didn't want to start anything that required dating me because he would have left soon and he didn't want to get attached to me.
I said "that's fine , I still want to be close friends and have fun in the time we have left together" and he agreed.
Weeks later after we watched another movie together we started talking on his bed and we ended up talking for 5 hours straight until 5am about personal stuff; he was holding my hand the whole time and then before I was heading back to my room he leaned in and kissed me/make out/long kiss.
Everything was nice up until a few days before he left; he invited me again to watch a movie together, I said yes and because the film was long it ended at 3am. I was very tired , I was on his bed and I said "Can I sleep here?". His reaction was fucking confusing. He said "What?" in a rude way and I said "we don't have to do anything, I'm pretty tired, we can sleep" and he said "Why? Can't you go back up to your room?" I FELT LIKE PURE SHIT. He said that he didn't want to ruin our friendship by sleeping with me because he really cared about me. He is also the type of guy that gets very clingy and attached with someone he likes. And he had sex with girls he doesn't care about.
