Is he into me, or too old for me?

I’m a 27 year old woman who works for a very wealthy family from Sweden. In the last year and a half, they welcomed me greatly into their family and treat me as if I’m one of them. My boss has an older brother (early 50s) who I’ve met numerous times. At first I thought he was extremely stoic and reserved, because he would never approach me or look me in the eye, but I would catch him staring at me all the time when I wasn’t looking and he’d quickly look away. Over time, he very slowly warmed up to me and made small talk with me. But after a while he’d seem almost awkward and uncomfortable and would walk away.

There’s been once where he walked behind me and very purposely rubbed his arm against my back. He only did it twice I think, but that was sometime ago.

We went to a family party yesterday, and I went outside to the backyard for some air. I saw in the corner of my eye he was watching me leave, and not too long after he followed me out, and chatted with me. He very slowly inched towards me during conversation, before suddenly his like… quickly went back inside. I can’t tell if he has a crush on me, or really doesn’t find me pleasant haha
Am I overthinking this? I’ve never had an older man interested in me, but I’ve also can never tell when a guy my own age likes me…lol

Despite what he might feel, I don’t think I’d peruse a relationship with him since his sister is my boss and friend. I feel like she would approve because of the age difference, and she sees me as a younger sister.
but at this point I’m curious. He’s a good looking Swedish man so like.. it would be a rather confidence boost haha
