Do you ever act nice and friendly to someone out of pity? I do this. Should I stop?
It seems like every time I befriend or act nice (beyond the basics) to a guy who keeps showing my attention that I didn’t ask for, he’s an asshole sooner or later.
I felt sorry for Justin beiber he seems like a sensitive guy. But then I see so many videos of him being a verbally abusive asshole to fans and his wife too.

Not out of pity, I am nice and friends to every person I talk to. If I don't want to interact or talk to them, I'd rather stop talking to them than pretend to enjoy talking to them.
And when I am friendly and nice, it's because I really mean it and like to be nice
But us the friendliness ever prompted by feeling sorry
I get friends because I like their presence and they like my presence, or we vibe.
I am friendly with whoever wants to talk and annoying. If they are going through someone bad, as a good friend, I try to encourage them and be more present.
Not that I feels sorry for someone so I become friends with them. Once they are doing good, I become less friendly
Thanks
