Baby momma included?

I’m in a fresh relationship for about a month. Met the guy for a date and the following day he showed up with his 1 year old in tow. . a week later he’s saying I love you blah blah blah. Now a month in , we had a small dispute over something , and he ran and confided his baby momma about it. My question is , is this normal to confide in the baby momma about our relationship issues etc?

In my experience, I have only seen it from the outside. It turned out that they were still “best friends with benefits” with the baby momma, but they neither wanted to be more.

Involving the child's mother in your current relationship can create unnecessary drama and complications. Not worth it.
