Guys, Why would a guy be hot and cold?

I keep seeing this guy who I find really attractive. He caught my eye when I caught him gazing and smiling at me.

We kept on smiling at each other (I was always the first one to look away) and then eventually I said hi to him. He went really weird around me after that, completely avoiding eye contact and more or less ignoring me.

One day I randomly said hi to him again and then we were having small conversations here and there. I’ve noticed that when we talk, he seems almost fidgety. He will also smile properly when I talk to him. I’ve also noticed (recently) that his pupils are dilated when I’m talking to him (he stands really close)

Based on that, I would say he likes me. But sometimes he barely acknowledges me and still ignores me.

Why is he being hot and cold?

Maybe he’s married. Maybe he thinks you’re weird. Maybe he just wants to bang you. Maybe you’re annoying. Hard to say because it seems like one of two things when it comes to men as far as how women perceive us. Either we’re doing something creepy or we’re flirting w you. That’s all it seems to be w women as far as how they see men. Every girl on this site seems to say this man is always looking at me. We make eye contact. I think women just don’t get men so they interpret it in their own way.
