There’s this guy that I met at a weekly event we go to. After some time we started kicking it off. We had sex and he told me he didn’t want to lead me on and that he’s not looking for a relationship. But whenever we’re at the event and in public he’s so flirty which throws me off. He has no problem showing others he’s into me. He sits next to me, he’s called me adorable before in front of one of them, he told his cousin me and him already did things, he kisses me in public (not in front of the group, usually where there’s not too many people around) and I don't know. It’s hard for me to discern whether he likes me or not, he said he’s not interested but he’s very romantic. He calls me cute and pretty a lot too.

Some do some don’t. Some men may respect you as a person but not want a relationship w you. Some men may not. They may see you as just a hotdog warmer, a cum dumpter. It depends on the dude. I think you’re both using each other. He’s using you most likely for sex. Maybe even to not be lonely at times, but that doesn’t equate to wanting to be in a relationship. You’re using him in whatever way you are. Maybe for affection, not to be alone either. Some men may fall in love w their friends with benefits because they can’t find someone better. Could be that he just realizes the at out of all the other women she treats him the best, takes care of him, etc. Maybe he just doesn’t want to put in the work to look for. A girl so he settles for her.

I think you should move on from this guy, even if he tells you he changed his mind, you can't really trust him, and I think a classic strategy women play that's works good that's a classic for a reason is hard to get, nowadays people dont like putting in effort, if a man does then he most likely wants more than just sex but making it clear that he won't get any until there's commitment will bring out his true colors if his intentions aren't pure as a man who values commitment will most likely want a woman that isn't easy.
