Guys, would you actually move several seats down from a beautiful female classmate who is about to sit near you?

This was after I had originally sat at one desk, but then a guy came in and asked me if I could move down one so that he and his friends could sit all in a row. So when I moved down a desk, the guy sitting in the desk next to it got up and moved several desks away. I had talked to that guy briefly the previous class (due to an in-class exercise), and I admit I gave one word answers. But is that really enough to want to avoid me this time?

Yes obviously, even if a yes and no, he might be thinking you are just a self obsessed girl like most of the girls.

So when you get chance again to speak to him just be little nice he might show attitude that day but later things will get normal.

I'd move if anyone annoying tried to sit next to me. Has nothing to do with what you look like, and I would have never tried to talk to you in the first place so take this with a grain of salt.

Eh... a lot of guys have unpleasant experiences with women where things that shouldn't be a big deal (like having a short conversation with her when she doesn't seem receptive to talking) become a big deal. She'll freak out about something, so some guys find it easier to just like... over respect her boundaries.

I would say , purely potentially yes , its a reason to move seats , you were rude and showed no respect , simply answering with only one word.
