I asked the guy I’m seeing could i get Chinese Friday night and he said sure. So Friday at 9 am i texted him and asked was he was getting me Chinese for dinner still and he texted back “yes what time you want me to get it”
So i texted back a few minutes later and told him that as long as i got it around 10 that would be fine.


7 Hours went by and he never texted me back. So i call him at 9:40 and asked him what happened to him getting me Chinese and he said “you never told me that time” and i said “i texted you and told you the time 7 hours ago you didn’t open your messages “

Then he asked me “do you want me to go get it now “

And i said “no don’t worry about it “

Mark it down as missed communication. If nothing similar happens for awhile I think you can assume it was a harmless- though frustrating- experience. If similar episodes of thoughlessness happen often maybe you should reconsider
