No ignoring his messages is a form of rejection or a sign of lack of interest, it's actually normal, mature and respectable of him to know when to back off, mostly if you show disinterest, i think if anything it's pretty egotistical to stop communicating with someone and still expecting them to push it and keep trying to seek for your acceptance.

I don't expect him to keep trying. I'm actually glad that he stopped because I'm clearly not interested. I just thought it was weird that he liked most of my post but since I don't respond he stops liking them. It looks like he had ulterior motives
