Guys, does a guy ignoring your posts on social media mean he’s not interested?

Ignoring you would be if he weren't responding to you when you sent something to him directly. He's not ignoring you, he's just not going out if his way to view what you put on your profile. Most guys don't care about social media like girls do, we don't pay attention to people's profiles.

Are you directly tagging him? If they’re just not liking or commenting. It’s just hard to tell. Look at their profiles and see if they’re responding to other peoples.

there's people on social media that you follow them but I just sort of scroll. It’s something more or less to pass the time with. I also don’t know how well you know them.

I’ve met him like twice but we have each other added on Snapchat which says he’s been active (the green dot was on his profile which means he was active in the past few minutes) but hasn’t seen my story

Yeah asker. There’s a lot of people who just add everyone. But don’t really have time or just don’t look at everyone’s story.

It’s like there’s people on Facebook I barely even know. Friended them years ago. I see their stuff but don’t look at it often

I completely understand thinking about things like this. But sometimes we as people think too deeply into things like that

I would except he’s friends with my brother so it would be extremely awkward if I told him for I felt and he didn’t feel the same way. Especially since my brother is getting married soon and I know he’ll at least invite this guy to the wedding.

Look asker I understand there’s a lot on the line. Maybe he feels the same way but is nervous about the same things.

I think that sometimes it’s worth the risk. It’s awkward sure. But if you’re both mature adults you’ll be able to move on. At the same time you will have closure and aren’t wasting your time crushing on someone whose not into you anyways, you also will never sit around wondering what it could have been

But if he does like you. You’re not risking another woman catching his eye who maybe is a safer option. Or a woman approaching him directly. Then it will be too late.

It could be, or he's crushing silently or he simply doesn't care about social media. I'm dead on social media like facebook. I like posts but only when I'm online and that's like once a year. It doesn't mean that I don't like the people who use it.
