Is my boyfriend being honest when he says this?

My boyfriend loves to gloat when a female hits on him and stuff and usually I'll hype him up but it'll be a long time after that initial moment and he'll bring it up again. I told him I don't like how happy he sounds when he does it because it feels like if he could have the female and leave me he would. So I said not to mention any of the women that hit on him. He doesn't deny the cheer in his voice as he reminisces and explained to me that even though he didn't enjoy the attention for his ego he still is glad he's with me and that I should be worried if he didn't tell me those things. Do other guys feel like this or is this just bs?

If you believe that then I have some ocean front property to sell you in Arizona. There’s no doubt most men check out other women. I’m sure he’s no different. But that attitude of always putting it in your face. Not good. Things would not be the same if you told him the same thing about men hitting on you. He needs to grow up. It's total bs. He's disrespectful and loves making you jealous. He thinks that if you believe women are attracted to him then you will be grateful that he is with you.

But, based on his attitude, I wouldn't trust him to be loyal.
