Why do “high value men” spend so much energy trying to convince women they’re high value?

We always hear “high value men don’t chase women, they attract them.” Makes sense. But then why do so many of these self proclaimed high value men spend HOURS online trying to convince women they’re the prize? If you’re really that valuable, wouldn’t everyone already know it?

Not everybody; only a smart woman. There will always be people who are unable to recognize "value" in anything, and on them, self-proclamation may work. If they are that easily convinced by a self-proclaimer, they probably deserve each other!

Because those men either aren't really high value or they get a kick out of debasing women/want other men to group up with them and join their ideology/fund them. Also, it'll depend on what people mean by "high value".
