Found escort emails in boyfriend’s phone. Is he paying for sex?

A few years ago I looked through my boyfriend’s emails. First time ever snooping. There were Craigslist escort emails and he swears he never met up with them. Yesterday I found a text from 2 years ago for an escort service. Once again he made an excuse like he’s never paid for sex and he didn’t know how it got there. I know he’s lying. I need some guys advice here.

He is obviously not telling the truth here.

If it is an email, then he must have received and seen it and the header of the message changes from bold writing into regular text, an indicator that the message has been opened and read.

Furthermore, why would anyone keep a 2 year old message in the in-box of the email account. Of course he knows how it got there but he is trying to cover up with some phony excuse.

Unless he can give you definite proof, he is suspicious in my eyes. It will be difficult to prove anything after such a long time but tell him that you will contact the escort service and ask for clarification. That should put pressure on him to tell you the truth.

Anyway, the confidence in him is now broken and you know what you should do.

The first email was from 2013 and the next was in 2014….. and I barely saw the emails. He just didn’t delete them.

Emails form escorts don't just show up unsolicited, so he must have initiated it. If the emails were about meeting up, you can be sure he did.

They were about meeting up. His phone number was in the emails. He sent, she responded. But he swears he didn’t meet up with the prostitutes. I know he’s lying. Just needed confirmation. And he worked out of town for years doing HVAC refrigeration

If you think he's getting sex elsewhere you don't need to look through his phone to prove it.
