How would you deal with guy coworker who ghosted you, but who you will still see?

I messaged a guy coworker about wanting to talk with him and he hasn’t responded so I’d say that’s ghosting right, it’s been a week.

I go back to work tomorrow and will see him at some point, how would you deal with it? We are friendly and flirty before, but now I feel annoyed.

Why would a coworker ghost you knowing that you will eventually have to face them.

I just wanted to talk about what was going on with us, although I didn’t say that exactly.

Ghosting implies a relationship that ends when one partner simply stops all communication. You made an unwanted advance and he has chosen to ignore it instead of talking to you. Perhaps he thinks that talking will simply make matters worse. He does not owe you an explanation. Stop being obsessed with this guy and find someone else.

Ok thanks for this. I guess it’s just hard to move on when a week ago he’s being really flirty and wanting to spend time with me and then this.. it would be much easier if he just said. Ok so how would you deal with him going forward in a work context I mean? Be friendly but professional or just ignore?

He doesn't owe you an explanation. His actions has demonstrated that he has no interest in you. There is nothing to DEAL with.
