If a shy guy likes a girl and found out she likes him back would he ask her out or be too nervous?

Well, no he would not do anything but rather he will keep having doubts and even ask question to himself "why does she like me back" what is so special about me etc.

It is very rare for a typical shy guy to ever ask a woman out.

Yes that is the thing. A typical shy guy lacks self confidence at least in the initial stages, he always will question things many times.

Yes even after a woman tells the guy she likes him or makes it clear shy guys cannot help but question the sentence of the woman. It is not because they don't trust but it is because lack of self belief and confidence which is always low in shy guys

Okay, so it could be that the woman is very confident is speaking with others, it could be that she has many guy friends which can also be a good reaosn for the shy guy to think that she might like one of her friends and not me (the shy guy) etc. It could also be that she is very outspoken and straightforward so he might get intimated thinking about what she will say to him if he does approach her.

If the woman is very gorgeous and attractive then the shy guy would automatically get intimated thinking how can such a gorgeous woman like a above average looking shy guy etc.

Yeah I kind of feel like we ar both a bit shy with each other, so that probably doesn’t help us integrate anything, instead we just end up locking eyes and thinking things but don’t actually say.
