Is it a red flag if a person still has their ex in their profile picture?

I've been talking to a guy and his profile picture is a group picture with 5 people in, including him and his ex. Is this a red flag? He hasn't spoken to his ex since they broke up 3 years ago and doesn't use social media that much but I don't get why he wouldn't have changed his picture?

If it's an issue for you (sounds like it is) then have you brought it up gently as if you noticed it and why he's still associating his online profile (that obsession with people's online profiles is itself a potential red flag) with his ex.

Why are you just 'talking' to this guy? Either date him or move on. The talking stage is a great to make sure nothing happens.

Yeah neither do I and I can understand a bit more if they just keep posts with their ex in, but if it's their actual profile picture that people see all the time it makes no sense to me.
