Why doesn't he propose to me?

We have been together for 9 months, living together from the beginning. And I am 5 months pregnant. We both wanted the baby. He is really nice and sweet and caring. I can't complain.

He was engaged before. When we just started dating, his ex came to the bar where we were at and put her engagement ring on the table and left. When we went outside he threw it down the drain.

And now I am 5 months pregnant and he didn't propose to me. My father asked me yesterday if we got married yet and I said no, I know we will I don't know when. I get so sad when I think about this, it's like me and my baby don't deserve anything.

For one sounds as though he ms been hurt so even though you’re not hurt, right now he’s a little guarded about marriage. He doesn’t want to be hurt again. Two, you’re giving him the ultimate thing a woman could give a man. A child. W out marriage. So there’s not much more you could give him. So a lot of men figure why get married. I have everything I want w out getting married. You should have waited till after marriage to give him a child. I’m sorry but I don’t think k this will play out the way you want it to. Hopefully it does but the two of you should have worked on his situation first as far as what happened w him and his ex. I’d almost think he still has feelings for her cause she’s the one who ended it, not him.

He is not going to propose to you for one simple reason. He was hurt before and does not wish to get hurt again.
