Guys, Did you ever develop a crush on the girl next door?

I guess you could say that but, the first one was actually the girl across the street. I don't know that I ever told her but, I kinda had a thing for her when I was about 8 to 12 years old.
There WAS a girl next door that moved in when I was maybe 22 and things were looking great until a few weeks later, she suddenly moved away and I never saw her again! I think that pervert that lived in her apartment a decade before started calling her up (his old number) and made numerous obscene calls to her that scared her away.

Other than that, no.
