So I had been chatting with this guy online. It's hard for me to connect with guys. But I don't know I felt like him an i were vibing. He texted me "Good morning beautiful" and sends me a pic of him drinking coffee. He called me 2xs and we had a good conversation. He said he likes talking to me. And likes my voice. He said he was getting off the phone to take a nap for his NA meeting. Then he tells me he's going out to eat with his sponsor. Then I get a text from him say that I don't really want to date. And that he doesn't want to lead me on. That he plans on going to another state to work on a oil rig as a electrician. I didn't know how to respond because I felt like his whole demeanor changed. So he texted me back hello? So I told oh that's pretty cool. He tells me thanks and that we can still talk but he doesn't want to me think something could be that won't.
I don't understand what happened? I thought we were kinda digging each other. Then he switches up on me. Why?

It almost sounds like he’s scared cause he said he likes you know he loves hearing your voice and stuff. I don’t wanna date so it almost sounds like he has like a fear of commitment. I’m assuming something happened to him in his past that’s made him that way.
I was shocked when he said that. Cause he never mentioned moving to another state. I mean it's his life. And if that's his plan then that's great. But what I don't understand is why be all interested in the flirting and chatting but then switch up? I think when he was having dinner with hie buddies. Something was daod and now his whole energy is off. I don't know what to say to him
He told his sponsor about you and his sponsor told him to shut it down. NA and AA frowns upon any sort of relationships during the 12 steps. It's very cult like.
Thats crazy. Here I was thinking he found more interest in another girl. So how do I respond to his text?
Why do women always default to 'another woman'? That's not the only reason.
Anyway, I don't know how to respond aside from wishing him well. There is no talking him out of it. by the way I was in NA a couple of different times and saw what a brainwash program it was and bailed, got clean on my own.
The reason why I default to thinking there's another woman is because of past experiences. 9 out 10 there was another woman. Honestly this sucks because I enjoyed talking to him.

I can't answer that for you. I mean maybe to wish him well? I would just leave it. Do you happen to know what his drug of choice was? Why is he in NA? Court ordered?
he's a meth addict. he's been clean for a year and half. He went to this faith based sober living after he got out of prison a few months ago.
Mmmm... that was my drug of choice too... went to jail for it, but never prison (thank God). That drug is the 👿 devil... hope he stays clean.
OMG... The start of yet another great Mills and Boon romantic novel... I do wish you would finish writing one before starting another one though.
