me and my boyfriend have a sort of long distance relationship & he used to send me more intimate pictures and now he hasn't lately and he shuts down when I ask. I feel like he is self conscious about his size bc one time he asked if I liked how a lube got him more inflamed and he asked if I like it more. I don't know why he doesn't send me anything even though I ask him multiple times.

He probably realizes that those pictures/videos are lost to him and may well be found in the depth of the internet at some time in the future.

Long distance relationships seldom work and you can just imagine that he may have found a substitute closer that values him for whom he is and that he can meet more frequently.

Sending nudes is just about the worst thing someone can do because the second those pictures are sent over the internet, they are lost to them forever.

That could be a sign he has lost interest or like you say he is just feeling self-conscious. Maybe try not mentioning it for a while so he doesn't feel pressured.
