Depends.
If a guy is a conscientious objector and pacifist who truly doesn't want to kill, he can still do non combat jobs in the military.
The more valid argument is that much of our military activity, like 95%, has nothing to do with national security or "truth, justice, and the American way". It has traditionally been colonialism and picking winners and losers all over the world to benefit oil companies and others raping the mineral wealth of 3rd world countries who can't stop us.
There have been a handful of existential conflicts. Primarily WWI and WWII. And a handful of humanitarian interventions in local genocide. Primarily Rwanda, Uganda, DROC. But the vast majority are economic resource land grabs. And many are ideological holy wars like Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, Israel, Libya, and Ukraine. Then some are just stupid threats to world commerce like Somali and Yemeni pirates.
If a guy refuses to fight for the US military industrial complex owned by Oligarchs, I not only understand, I enthusiastically support that. It took me a while and witnessing that from the inside to fully understand what is going on.
But tRump? He's just a garden variety trust fund baby, greedy and cowardly, who believes the rules don't apply to him. He's willing to cheat his way through life. Taking everything he can from society and never giving back to anyone. His trust fund baby kids have been raised with the same sick mentality. I have zero respect for people like that.
If you don't want to kill your fellow man any excuse is a good excuse. I understand the necessity of the draft but that doesn't make it ethical, far from it. I couldn't bring myself to judge someone for not wanting to go to war. Not everyone is cut out for it and that doesn't mean they aren't still men. Not all men are warriors some are medicine men, some are farmers it's always been this way. Not every man is meant to be a soldier. I'm not a soldier I've never been to war, but I've seen the documents and the footage, and I know what a terrorist beheading someone with a combat knife looks like. there's no shame in not wanting to know what those things are like I fucking promise you. There are things you can't unsee.
No. If enough people did this on all sides, I think we would've always fought differently.
The big whigs aren't going to be killing people on the frontlines.
Soldiers are worser off than civilians in being expendable fodder for tycoons.
No. I consider men who will fight for people who despise them as fools, especially if they want do it because of some ridiculous ideology introduced by people who control and hate them.

If the political establishment and the military forces were actually there to protect the country and were for the benefit of its people, sure. But given how treasonous the power structures are in this country, I would not fight and I would avoid any draft. What am I fighting for exactly? Englandistan? For my taxes to house and look after people who won't do a day's work or come here from abroad. While I have pretty little to show for working.
On the one hand
Yes he’s definitely a coward
On the other hand
The army is full of pawns killing and dying to fill the pockets of oil tycoons
So really there is no right answer
But on an individual level: you shouldn’t run away from what needs to be done by faking and lying
It would depend on why he lied, and when he lied. I consider men who lied to get out of going to the illegal war in Vietnam to have been moral and smart, not cowards. If there has been a draft for Afghanistan and Iraq, two more illegal wars, the same logic would have applied.
What if he lied to avoid the draft because he was a trust fund baby who thought soldiers are suckers and losers from the lower classes and he didn't give a crap about the morality of the Vietnam War?
I know im not a girl but, yes, I do think he is. If he's supposed to go, because he was drafted, then, yes, he's a coward.
However, just not signing up for it, no, that's not. I would never actually sign up for the war
Where and when?
The USA hasn't had a draft since the 1970s.
Not necessarily. If the war being waged is not in defense of the nation and he is morally opposed to wars of choice, no.
Obviously not a girl, but since it was left open to answer I did.
Yes, he looks like someone who would push a woman to be a soldier instead as he gets his hands manicured
Yes, but some people will even vote for one.
Yes, Trump's fake bone spurs make him a coward and unfit to be a leader.
Military conflict is for making politicians and the private sector money.
No. Fighting a war for some BS man's ego and greed isn't worth it.
Yes!.. Go die like you are supposed to..
Yes. And not a real man.
yeah go die for ur country coward
I was truthful and asked to never join.
Not a girl but a man that’s a vet and yes I do
No good for him
Lied? Yes
