I can only speak for myself but in my case, what is a total turn off is the fact that middle aged men that have reached their midlife crisis are solely looking for a young woman to fornicate and then to dispose, something like "fire and forget" or "pump and dump".

Those men typically want to prove to themselves that they still have what it takes to attract younger women. The sad thing is that they don't really have it and that they need to compensate that lack of attraction with money or any other incentives.

Let the younger people date younger ones and the middle aged ones the ones in their same age group.

As men age, elections because less reliable or even non existent. They may think that women will be disappointed, and some might be. Others may have had a rough go of it in a previous relationship and they just don't want to risk it again.
