How true is it that guys gravitate towards safe relationships after divorce as opposed to truth?

What I mean is post divorce how true is it that guys gravitate towards a safe and simple relationship with a girl you like, compatible but doesn’t blow your mind or anything as opposed to a intense relationship which might be more complex (eg she has children, you work together etc) but you feel way more for the girl?

So one relationship feels easy because you can just fall into it but you don’t feel as much, but the other requires more hurdles initially but you feel way more. Which one are guys post divorce more likely to choose?

I’m not sure about “safe” but I’m sure they would go with someone who’s easy to get while the guy is in that state of desperation.

Yeah ok, makes sense. By safe I mean doesn't require much, it doesn’t change his life too much, the girl just falls into with him, even if its not necessarily fulfilling or love say.
