A guy at my job gave me flowers?

I look exactly like his wife that passed away years ago. When I first met him he looked very similar to me... he is much older than me. Today he asked me my favorite color... I said pink... he asked if I had children... I said yes. He left out and brought back a beautiful bouquet of pink flowers with pink wrapper around the vase... He handed me the flowers and said, "This is how I feel about you." Do you think this is weird? I'm feeling overwhelmed.

Since you look just like his wife, it makes me wonder about the state of their relationship before she passed. If he loved her deeply then seeing you could make him nostalgic in a way, or it’s his way of acting on guilt if he was bad to her. Regardless I really feel like heartache is at play here, which is sad for him but uncomfortable for you. I would have politely declined the flowers, or decline any gifting in the future. Because it is a bit odd and unwelcome on your behalf.
