So, I have a photography Instagram page, and one of my guy “friends” followed me on it. I rarely post my face, and mainly focus on nature shots, but whenever I do, he always likes those photos, and hardly ever likes my nature shots—if ever. It’s weird because I know he’s very online, and sees all of my posts; what could this mean. Also, whenever I would see him in the hallways, I would wave, and he would always act so “nonchalant” about it, but then I find out that he asked my sister about me at an event I wasn’t at (?) additionally, he used to walk with his (now ex) girlfriend in the hallways, and WHENEVER I would pass by, he would first look down, then fix his clothes, hair, whatever—and it was really uncomfortable. To top it all off, he “friends” with so many girls in the school, and I was randomly on IG, and found he liked some girls bikini pictures, and it’s like DUDE, get away from me. I don’t want to fight with a guy over his following.

What kinda signals are they. Are the smoke signals. Are they baseball signals.. Are they hand signals. Turning right or left

Or is it the birdy signal the hey your number one. Or maybe they are I'm this type if guy signals .. I like looking at your page becayse your not smart and will never find out signals.. that's why. When you look at me in the hall I just kinda keep going. Because you don't I've been on your page... well the odds are his girl friend broke up because see found out he's all over the internet. Looking at hot girls .. I mean you know more about him then he knows you fo that's for sure. .

I think he is simply not interested in your hobby, and maybe he believes that liking self-portraits may send you a signal. Clearly you received a signal, a confusing one, confusion that seems typical of this hyper focus on social media interactions. This is even a meme on this platform, you'll see many people wondering about the meaning of likes. Even above your age range.

Since you're annoyed by what he does, you have several options, you can talk to him openly, you can block him, or you can ignore his online actions
