Do guys come up to girls at parties only to if they want something with them or just to make a friend?

Honestly it could be either-or. A lot of times at house parties if someone comes alone or are separated from whoever they came with for whatever reason, then they’ll gravitate to someone else who’s seemingly by themselves rather than awkwardly stand around alone.


You’ll know they’re trying to relay interest if they’re flirting, suggestive or maybe they don’t even waste time testing the waters and flat out ask for your number. But usually if there’s a bit of drinking involved or you two are chatting and they’ve decided they want to pursue you, they’ll make that known. If they’re not making any moves and you ultimately leave the party without each other’s information then in most cases that’s intentionally done.

Men are incredibly materialistic and they only talk to women when they want something. Once I gained weight, they basically stopped talking to me and acted like I never existed. It’s been nice, peaceful.

They want something. 99.99% of the time if a guy you don't know is approaching you it he because he wants sex. Even if the root reason is to date the initial reason is you are attractive enough for him to want sex.

i approach as a friend, if the other person seems to want more, i respond accordingly but if they're not interested, i continue as just friends.
