Is it normal for a boyfriend to scream at you?

Accidentally broke a valuable of my boyfriends that meant a lot to him, rightfully so he was upset and screamed at me to the point where I got scared and just came back home. I feel horrible it was an honest mistake :(

No, that's not normal at all.

He had every right to be upset, but there are better ways go react than screaming. It doesn't sound like he's really capable of controlling his emotions, and that's a red flag.

A person like that can very easily swing towards abuse and violence, unless he gets himself under control. I would be cautious around him, if I were you.

Men shouldn't be screaming at all unless they're in severe physical pain. Even then I'd prefer they don't. What you're describing is far from normal.

It’s not normal, but people are different.
Some people really can’t handle their emotions and anger. If he does something like that just never argue, listen what he said and talk to him when he cooling down.

Everyone can blow their top once in awhile when frustrations add up, but it shouldn't be a regular thing and it shouldn't only be taken out on you.
