Is it normal for my boyfriend to always yell at me?

I talked to my boyfriend about yelling at me over silly things. I forgot my phone at his house and we didn’t even take off yet and he was yelling at me.. then took off. I let him know accidents happen and I was sorry and he told me that I need to be responsible and he wasn’t going to go back. As we were on the road I let him know I’d be going to work without a phone and he didn’t care.. then he aggressively turned back around to his house while yelling at me. We got to his house and he told me “get the fuck out of the car and get your phone because I’m not getting down” and not once did yell back at him. Last time I didn’t put his AirPods in to charge and he yelled at me saying I couldn’t do anything right. He says he has every right to be furious with me.. but I told him yelling at me to the point I cry isn’t it. When he yells and I cry he just tells me “why the fuck are you crying” and to stop it. These are just 2 silly examples of him yelling but he usually yells over anything. I’ve told him he will not be yelling at me again from now forward but it’s like he continues to do so. I know he gets mad but is that really a reason to yell at me the way he does? It’s making me feel like I’m worthless because no matter what I do he gets mad. He yells then apologies it’s a repetitive cycle. When I tell him how I feel and say I’m going to leave him he’s like “idc I had every right to be mad”
