Should I assume he’s not interested if he doesn’t really say hi first or start a conversation… is he keeping things professional?

When I start the conversation he’s funny and cool but after that nothing else…. He doesn’t really say hi or bye and our rooms are right next to eachother at work.

we got some things in common.. from the same state and went to the same college.

Seems a silly thing to assume. I am usually not the one starting conversations. I would much prefer to have my participation judged than if I began it or not.

But hey, inform the guy that if a guy is interested in you, you like it if he says hi first here and there and so on. Sometimes people need the playbook to know how to play.
