Soooo, from my experience as a gay guy, married Being involved with married men—common experience or not? Pros & Cons men can be so into you at first—flirty, bold, giving all the attention. Honestly, they’re often the ones I end up getting involved with more because of that.

Then, out of nowhere, they pull back, go distant, and sometimes vanish completely… only to pop back randomly later.

I get it—secrecy, not being fully out, maybe even “separated but not really.” But is this something that’s more specific to married men being involved with another guy (like them being on the down-low more than they let on)? Or is it more universal—do women experience this too with married men?

Being involved with a married man can only bring cons, be it a woman or a gay man. Either he will use that person, never take them seriously or respect them, which is the most likely scenario. Or if they manage to "take him" from the wife they get a liar and cheated who used and hurt his partner and family, so you will never be able to trust him. Even if you're just in it for money or any unserious reason, he will drop you when he wants and try to control and maybe abuse that relationship because they don't have much of a conscience. Don't get involved with a married person, if you don't care about anyone else at least care about yourself.

Getting involved with married men is pretty common experience, unfortunately. At first, they're flirty, attentive, and generous - exciting and flattering. But it rarely stays stable
