I'm just curious what's in it or maybe he has stuff on it that he doesn't tell me about or I don't know I'm just curious is it weird?

The questions you need to ask yourself are:

Is there anything I'm worried about? Is this curiosity a result of feeling jealous?

Trust is everything within a relationship. If you're worried about something, ask him. If you think he's seeing someone else, you have a right to know and will eventually find out. But that is hardly ever the case and a lot of signs will point in that direction.

My wife has the code to unlock my phone, I have her code to unlock hers. We have nothing to hide.

Trust is a two way street & if you are really curious you & your husband should switch phones for the day. If you think he is hiding something he will have the perfect opportunity to see if you are hiding something as well.

Checking your husband’s phone isn’t weird however by checking it to me it shows you clearly don’t trust him.

But if your man doesn’t want you to check it, don’t check it unless you are ready for the possibility that will happen later.

I think if you do it once then its probably fine. It could come off in his mind as you being distrusting but if it bothers you then just ask him to let you.

My wife has never asked me before so I do find it weird, but I'm pretty sure you're not the first person to have considered this.
