Is it a common thing for taken guys to be like this?

i’ve noticed that i could have great convos with a guy, the sexual/romantic vibe is definitely there, sometimes we’re making eyes at each other. but then out of nowhere i found out they have a girlfriend. and if it’s not something like that, i could make eye contact with one down the street and they give certain looks. i’m not a homewrecker at all, nor do i ever plan to be. loyalty is something i don’t play about. but i’m just uneasy at how common this is. does that mean i give off some kind of side chick vibe? is this how taken guys naturally are like?

Nah, how people behave has nothing to do with you or how you are seen, for the most part a side chick can be any woman, if a guy wants that he will look for it where he can, it doesn't mean you look or seem like one, it's just unfortunate that it's common where you are and you've ran into it more than once, I do like your attitude about loyalty tho, stay that way and what's worth your time you can decide, keep moving forward.

As with most things, that kind of behavior is unique to the individual, rather than the group.

Some guys are still flirty, while they're in relationships, some will cheat, and some won't. Myself, for example; I barely even notice, nor acknowledge, other women, when I'm taken. It's just not in my nature, and I don't have any interest in other women.

It feels common because those guys you are able to have conversations with often are confident and sure of their worth. That’s going to be attractive to other girls and is one reason they are likely in a relationship. Can you tell when I guy isn’t as confident and can’t hold eye contact with you?
