Why did he start ignoring me?

I posted about a football team the other day on Instagram and my crush replied to it. We messaged back and forth a little but he was slow to reply. The last message I sent was on Friday night and he has yet to even open it. Why did he even message me in the first place if he was just going to ignore me like this?

I think that texting has created an environment of expectation. He saw the message and is ignoring me. You don't know that you don't really know what he is thinking. It could be a simple as he typed and then didn't click send appropriately. His reply is sitting there he thought he sent it and your the one not responding in his head. Or his father is sick.. his phone fell in the toilet. He opened looked at it and laughed but was driving. You don't know unless you ask. You can send another text or call try calling..
